 Building on the successful concept of the Peugeot 307, the 308 offers more interior space, improved levels of standard safety equipment, lower emissions and fuel consumption, new high tech petrol and diesel engines and improved levels of interior comfort. The Peugeot 308 five door hatchback is the first model of a new "3" series family.

The 308 is powered by six engine options, ranging from a 1.4 litre VTi (Variable valve lift and Timing injection) petrol engine with a five speed manual gearbox, through to a 2.0 litre HDi diesel engine, with a six speed manual gearbox, that produces 136 bhp.

The model's stylish design not only looks good but helps to reduce fuel consumption and emissions with its class leading aerodynamics - enabling the 1.6 litre HDi 90 to emit only 120 g/km of CO2. The 308 provides excellent protection for all its occupants too, with six airbags fitted as standard on all models.

Offering a greater carrying capacity than the 307, the 308 features a cleverly laid out boot that maximises the available space and provides a 430 litre capacity with the parcel shelf in place, increasing to 1,398 litres when the seats are folded.

The distinctive 4007 gives Simon Bailes customers the best of both worlds with the option of an innovative ‘on demand' four-wheel-drive system, in addition to the dynamic road handling available by the two wheel drive mode.

Powered by the latest generation HDi engine technology, the environment-friendly 4007 returns an impressive mpg performance (39.2mpg on the combined cycle) and emits just 191 g/km of CO2. It can even run on up to 30% biodiesel without any modifications and is fitted with Peugeot's latest Diesel Particulate Filter System (DPFS) to remove soot particles from engine combustion.
