Every diesel engine generates particulates. At Peugeot, we should know. We pioneered the use of particulate filters (FAP) for diesel engines as standard equipment.

How does the FAP work? Basically, it’s a porous structure which is integrated into the catalytic converter to trap harmful particles of carbon as the exhaust gases pass through it.

This reduces emissions to barely measurable amounts (0.001 g.km), helping to preserve the environment without spoiling the performance of your 4007.

Keep it green. To ensure that the 4007’s diesel engine always operates as efficiently as possible and continues to meet Euro 4 standards, a warning light will come on to tell you if the filter needs attention.
